romance books reviews

Writing a romance set at Christmas has its own complications. Readers buy them expecting certain elements. Writers hope to satisfy their need, with a story that captures a small part of what Christmas can mean– along with two people who find something more.

Bad Mommy by Tarryn Fisher was just released!!!! —

And is getting all the hype see below a readers review on the book. I bet is a must read.

“She’s done it again. But this time with a new writing style and characters that felt so real that I now look for them while walking down the street. As soon as I finished, I immediately started reading the book again. You will want to pick up Bad Mommy ASAP. This book is unlike anything I’ve read. This is the story of a woman that wants the life of her best friend. It’s realistic, raw and just plain creepy. The last chapter is one of the most powerful chapters I’ve ever read. So get ready to jump on the Bad Mommy Express and enjoy the ride but be sure to hold on because there are so many twists and turns along the way.”

About the book Bad Mommy

“When she buys a house, it’s not because she likes the neighborhood, or even because she likes the house. It’s because everything she desires is next door: The husband, the child, and the life that belongs to someone else.”

Hate Story by Nicole Williams was just released!!!!

romance books reviews

Hate story was about Nina and Max who agreed upon a business arrangement of marriage. Having spent time online together Max determined Nina was the perfect candidate for his business investment.
Max and Nina began an unconventional relationship. Max compiled a three year business plan that included a timeline. The charade included living together and documenting certain events to convince family and friends that they were in love.
However, Love was not part of the arrangement in fact it was forbidden. Sex was another condition that was removed from the arrangement. Both characters held reservations in regards to sharing feelings and emotions. Except, Nina could not hold back her hate for Max.

Nina was an independent woman who was feisty and strong willed. Nina had several jobs focusing on making money rather than spending time at school. Nina lived a simple and messy life.
Max was a smart and wealthy businessman who invested his money wisely. Max lived a lavish life. Max was a confident character who exuded sex appeal while wearing an expensive suit. Max was well organized and tidy. Max created a schedule and timeline outlining the terms of the arrangement.
Nicole brought in several obstacles to try to shake up their arrangement adding enjoyment to the storyline. The dialogue was clever and witty and had a few surprises. The story moved at a steady pace.
“Because hating me is less terrifying than the thought of loving me is.” Great quote. Nicole I actually loved your Hate Story. I was not sure what to make of this book when looking at the cover. My first impression was that it was going to be a cheesy erotic story. I’m so glad I was wrong. I love your emotional reads that give me the feels but this one still made me feel good.
“She can’t let herself fall in love with the man she’s going to marry… Three years. A million dollars. A solution to both of their problems. They planned it all, from the story of their first meeting to the date of their divorce… But what they didn’t consider was chemistry, and they have no shortage of it. After too many near-kisses, she convinces herself that hating him is better than loving him, and the more she gets to know this soon-to-be-husband of hers, the more she discovers just how very much she truly, madly, and deeply hates him. This isn’t a love story. This is the other kind.”

Dillon Keck knew Ashlyn Mayson was drunk when she suggested they get married. He knew he should have taken her back to their hotel room and put her to bed. Instead, he did what he had been craving to do since the moment they met.
Claim her as his.
Waking up married in Vegas isn’t something Ashlyn Mayson ever thought would happen to her. Having Dillon, her boss, a man she thinks is a dick, insist they stay married is absurd, but every time he touches her, she gets lost in him and wonders if maybe they are meant to be together.
But someone isn’t happy for Dillon and Ashlyn and their new found romance, and they’re willing to do anything to keep them apart. Even commit murder.

I write about Men's health, Relationships etc. Love is the greatest thing in all the world. Sex an expression of love and exposure to the inner realm of the human spirit. honorable in marriages and destructive when done outside wedlock. A big reason I want to write about Men's health is because we have gone through a rough time as couples. We couldn't find any advice online and friends and counselors kept the talk out of the prep.
